She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Lucas and Geraldine Lucas (Lutz); and her brother Edward Lucas. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Barner; her daughters, Tracy L. Shawley Hockenberry and Heather Shawley Hollebaugh; her siblings, Daniel, Andy, Franklin Lucas, Kathryn Fetters (Randolph Sr.) and Wanda Sample; and her pet Lilo.
