George W. Ertwine Obituary

George W. Ertwine, 70 of rural Julian passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. George was born on July 6, 1952, in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Arthur and Hazel Sweigart Ertwine, Sr.

George is survived by his former wife, JoAnn (Richardson) Ertwine of Julian; also surviving are his children, Brian (Judy) Ertwine of rural Clearfield, Jason Ertwine of State College and April Bowes of Julian; his 5 grandchildren, Christian Ertwine, Eric Ertwine, Victoria Whitehead, Noah Ertwine and Hannah Ertwine. George is also survived by his siblings, Cheryl Driesbach of Lewistown, James Ertwine of Bellefonte and Ronald Ertwine of Waco, TX. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Ertwine and his brothers Benny Ertwine and Donald Ertwine.

George was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed fishing and camping in his younger days.

Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
