He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McCloskey and Olive McCloskey (McCracken); his former wife Shirley McCloskey (Bumbarger); his wife Verna McCloskey (Shutkia); his grandson Joshua David McCloskey; his son-in-law Bob Struble; and his siblings, George McCloskey and Peggy A. Hunter.
He is survived by: his former wife Genevieve N. "Genny" Walker; and his children, Edward H. McCloskey, Jr. (Nicole) of Moshannon, David A. McCloskey of Milesburg, Cindy Struble of Milesburg, Patricia Notestine (Jeff) of Bedford, DeLinda Moore of Bedford and Connie Casher (Fred) of Keewaydin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
