It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Barndt Rockey (Milesburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Jerry Owens and Jennie Stover Owens; her husband Jack Barndt; and her siblings, Esther Klinefelter, Elizabeth Runkle, Cora Emberton, Nancy Martin, William, Joe, Paul, Dean and Jerry Owens.
She is survived by : her children, Lola McCloskey (Rick) of Clarence, Pamela Jimeson (Thomas) of State College, Cora Cain (Danny) of Howard, Emma Leh (Ken) of Boyertown, Annette Landry (George) of Stallings, NC, Jody Johnson (Andy) of Bellefonte, John Barndt (Kerry) of Port Matilda Paul Barndt (Valerie) of Columbia, SC and Jack Barndt of Driftwood; and her sisters, Betty Homan of Milesburg, Jane Miller of Centre Hall and Shirley Kelly of Bellefonte. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
We will be following CDC recommendations, facial coverings will be required and social distancing is encouraged.
