He was predeceased by: his parents, George Raymond and Ruth Shultz Ammerman; his wife Joyce M. Breon; and his sons, Larry and Brook.
He is survived by: his children, Randy D. Ammerman (Mitch Ballas) of State College, Donna Sue Ammerman of Milesburg and Penny M. Thompson (Glenn) of Howard; his daughter-in-law Karen O'Brien Ammerman (Larry) of Bellefonte; and his brother Charles R. Ammerman of Pleasant Gap.
