It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David G. Smoyer (Milesburg, Pennsylvania), born in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 10, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fount Smoyer and Pearl King Smoyer; his wife Delores J. Hall; and his siblings, Arthur Smoyer, May Smoyer, William Smoyer, Sterling Smoyer and Elwood Smoyer.
He is survived by: his children, Eileen Young (Jerry) of Julian, Dawn Knepp (Tim) of Middleburg, Michael Smoyer (Deb) of Julian, David Smoyer, Jr. (Maria) of Lancaster and Nancy Witmer (Brian) of State College; and his grandchildren, Ryan Dixon (Sarah), Kyle Dixon, Brandon Witmer, Shane Witmer and Chase Witmer.
