He was predeceased by: his son Larry E. (Shirley Haagen McCloskey). He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Etters McCloskey; his sons, Jay G. Eckenrode (Tara Davidson) of Snow Shoe and Jonathon McCloskey of Bellefonte; his grandchildren, Jacey Bowes, Shane Eckenrode, Colton Eckenrode and Chase Eckenrode; and his siblings, Larry E. McCloskey of Bellefonte and Carol Wolfe (Warren) of Alaska.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Yarnell United Methodist Church, 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823 in memory of Carl E. McCloskey.
