Beverly Ann Jodon Obituary
Beverly Ann (Stewart) Jodon, 85, of Milesburg passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 12, 2023.
She was the beloved wife of John William Jodon, who preceded her in death in 2018, after more than fifty happy years of marriage. Beverly was born on January 31, 1938 to Frederick and Martha (Hunter) Stewart. After her graduation from Bellefonte Area High School, she worked as a legal secretary. Upon her marriage to John Jodon, she moved to Milesburg, where she eventually raised their sons and delighted in caring for her family and home.
Most recently a member of Eagle Valley Church of the Nazarene, Beverly was a devout Christian. She found great hope in her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior, and it was her deepest desire for each one in her family to put their faith in Jesus Christ. She believed deeply that it was never too late to change course and follow God.
Beverly was a devoted wife, a loving mother and mother-in-law, and an adored grandmother. She is survived by three sons: Samuel Jodon of Lemoyne, Matthew Jodon of Huntington, and Jonathan (Amanda) Jodon of Dillsburg; eleven grandchildren: Nicholas (Grace), Tyler, Madison, Caleb, Richard, Leah, Ana, Avalyn, William, Isaac, and Adalyn, brother-in-law, Donald (Betty) Jodon of Snow Shoe, sister-in-law, Doris (Raymond) Jodon and several beloved nieces and nephews and their families. She counted among her closest friends her beloved sister-in-law, Donna Stewart, and her dear lifelong friend and cousin, Peggy Schultz, both of Bellefonte.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Stewart, and her sister, Sandra (Stewart) Richards.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring Street. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM with Pastor Andrew Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp. alongside her husband.
