She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Huckabey and Lila Huckabey (Gattis). She is survived by: her husband Glenn M. Higley; her children, Megan Johnson of Ocala, FL, Clint Slocumb (Mandy) of Ocala, FL, Aaron Slocumb of Miami, FL and Nick Slocumb of Ocala, FL; her stepsons, Jason Higley of Doylestown, Darrick Higley of Laporte and Dustin Higley of Dushore; and her sisters, Gay Freeman of Calhoun, GA, Patsy Gemelli of White, GA and Barbara Williams of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
In that spirit, the family will provide the flowers so that memorial contributions can be made to the Dushore Library, 206 Center St., P.O. Box 309, Dushore, PA 18614.
