He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward John and Edna Selert (Francis); and his siblings, Elaine Selert, Edward, William and Richard Selert.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Selert (Gerhard); his children, Barbara J. Cunnius (Lloyd) of Weatherly, Robert B. Selert (Michelle) of Weatherly and Edward J. Selertand (Rebecca) of Chincoteague, VA; and his sister Lorraine Bennett (Leon) of Kennewick, WA.. He is also survived by 7 grand children; 13 great grandchildren.
