The passing of Alberta I. Swendsen of Milanville, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William J. "Bill" Swendsen; her father Frederick B. Dunn; her sons, Richard W. "Ric" Swendsen, Gary J. Swendsen, Lloyd B. Swendsen, Dale H. Swendsen and Frederick R. "Fred" Swendsen; her daughters-in-law, Susan Swendsen, Karen Swendsen and Penny Swendsen; and her siblings, Harold F. Dunn, Arnold Dunn, Kenneth Dunn, Evelyn M. Dunn, Edna May Wood and Violet Budd.
She is survived by: her mother Bessie Gregory Dunn; her children, Harvey L. Swendsen (Carla) of Milanville and Lori Heckman (Perry) of Mohrsville, PA; her sister Lois Keesler of Damascus; and her daughters-in-law, Cindy Shearer Swendsen and Trudy Vail Swendsen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calkins Baptist Church (527 Calkins Rd, Milanville, PA 18443). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alberta's memory to Calkins Baptist Church, 527 Calkins Road, Milanville, PA 18443.
