He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Brown and Ethel V. Brown (Hunter); his wife Martha I. Brown (Smith); and his siblings, Doris Baran and Richard Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Brown (Joyce), Carol Cochran (Nathan) of Martinsburg, WV, Mary Jo Brown of Martinsburg, WV, Lori Whitebread (Robert) and Amy Fuehrer (Scott); and his grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Aaron, Josh, Jesica, Seth and Jonathan. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
