She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Robert and Lina M. Freed (Pierce); her former husband Mahlon D. Garland; her husband Ralph W. Lauver; her brother Samuel Robert Freed, Jr.; and her nephew Samuel R. "Bub" Freed III.
She is survived by: her daughters, D. Leeanne Garland, Tracy Howell (Guy) and Darla Supplee (Glenn); her stepsons, Andrew S. Lauver (Rachael) and John "Chuck" Lauver (Wendy); and her daughter Janie Marks. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
