With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda R. Showers (Mifflintown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda R. Showers to pay them a last tribute.
Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Showers and Anna Mae Showers (Page); and her grandparents, George and Helen Page. She is survived by: her close friends, Rick and Audrey Peters of Mifflintown; and her cousins, Rick and Audrey. She is also survived by other cousins, friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Guss Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S 3rd St, Mifflintown, PA 17059). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
