He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Sr. Bell and Frances E. Bell (Pannebaker). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. (Barlett); his children, April L. Hampton of Hershey and Steven G. Bell (Kristel) of Lewistown; his siblings, Robert W. Bell Jr. (Susie) of Mifflintown, John E. Bell (Sheron) of Mifflintown and Doris Ann Kerlin (Cliff) of Mifflintown; his grandchildren, Eddie Hampton, Levi Hampton, Kira Hampton, Kaitlin Byler (Garrett) and Olivia Bell; and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Byler and Mason Byler.
