She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin "Andy" Burd and Virginia Burd (Hosler); and her brothers, Ronald Burd (Nancy), Robert Burd and Steven Burd.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley C. Barner, II; her children, Stanley C. Barner, III (Shirley) of Mifflintown and Jill R. Hildebrand (Brian) of Plevna; her granddaughter Brandy Barner Barto (Marshall); and her sister-in-law Helen Burd Shoop.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Guss Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S 3rd St, Mifflintown, PA 17059).
