It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet R. Heckman of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Ronald Roush and Laura Ruth Roush (Krouse); and her husband G. Lloyd Heckman, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas S. Heckman and Judith Heckman Proch; her brother Dick Roush; her grandchildren, Lara Leo (Kevin), Joshua Proch (Tammy) and Jill Proch Pastore; and her great grandchildren, Courtney Leo Chapin (Ian), Alexandra Leo, Luca Pastore and Gabriella Pastore.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church (517 Main St, McAlisterville, PA 17049). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Heckman's memory to the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, 517 Main Street, McAlisterville, PA 17049.
