With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn G. Benner of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn G. Benner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Whitely and Vera Graybill (Kepler); and her brother Jimmy Graybill. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Benner Jr.; her children, Frederick S. Benner (Kim) of Mifflintown, Sally B. Pry (Rodney) of Mifflintown and Michael S. Benner (Amy) of Everett; her brother Richard D. Graybill of McAlisterville; and her grandchildren, James D. Benner, Eleanor G. Bemer, Emily B. Nice, Ryan L. Pry, Shena M. Fodor, Samantha R. Stein, Aaron M. Benner and Christopher E. Benner. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Free Spring Church of the Brethren (670 Free Spring Church Rd, Mifflintown, PA 17059). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
