He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Shemory and Sadie Shemory (Wallace); his wife Joan Shively; and his sisters, Sandy Kratzer and Karen Shemory.
He is survived by: his son Adam; his daughter-in-law Nikki Shemory of Mifflinburg; his daughter Terri Jo; his son-in-law Rodney Brittain of Millmont; his grandchildren, Tamara Brittain, Blayne (Deanna Brittain), Morgan (Tyler Boonie) and Blake Shemory; his great grandchildren, Cooper Mankoski and Aidan Brittain; and his siblings, Marlin Jr. (Marlene Shemory), Donald (Marla Shemory), Ronald (Jeri Shemory), Tommy Shemory of Glen Iron, Marlinda (Rick Rieck) and Jackie (Charlie Lilley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
