It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavina R. Yoder (Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania), born in Belleville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Zook and Annie Zook (Peachy); her husband Edwin J. Yoder; her father-in-law Louis Yoder; and her brothers-in-law, Phillip and John David Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Jonathan (Emily Yoder), James (Elizabeth Yoder), Jason (Elaine Yoder) and Judith; her son-in-law Scott Rose of Lewisburg; her siblings, John L. Zook of Belleville, David P. Zook of Belleville, Timothy S. Zook of Mifflinburg, Chester M. Zook of Milroy, Martha J. Sharp of Belleville, NY and Sarah A. Peachy of McVeytown; her grandchildren, Larissa Grace, Claudia Elaine, Fernando Walter Rose, Jaxton Edwin and Jace Edward Yoder; her brother-in-law Vernon (Nancy Yoder) of Belleville; her grandchildren, Mike Yoder of Belleville, Fern, Freddie Parsons of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Twila and Clayton Beachey of Bastrop, Texas; her sister-in-law Twila Yoder of Belleville; her mother-in-law Naomi Yoder of Belleville; and also Leora. She is also survived by four sisters-in-law.
