He was predeceased by: his father Donald Mattern Wetzel, Sr.; and his brother Jack E. Wetzel. He is survived by: his mother Gladys Isabel Wetzel (Dorman) of Lewisburg; his wife Patricia Ann Hackenberg; his son Kyle A. Wetzel of Aliquippa; his brother Donald M., Jr.; his sister-in-law Marcia Wetzel of Mifflinburg; his sister Judy Ann; his brother-in-law William Chappell of Zephyrhills, Florida; and his grandchildren, Connor and Eleanor.
