She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hackenberg and Naomi Hackenberg (Gessner); her grandson Kenneth Carl Ely; and her niece Bethany Zechman. She is survived by: her son John P.; her daughter-in-law Melissa Ely of New Berlin; her daughter Rebecca Ely Snyder of Mt. Pleasant Mills; her grandchildren, Kendra, Katie and Adam; her great grandchild Kai; her brother Harold; her sister-in-law Norma Hackenberg of Laurelton; her sister Alice; her brother-in-law Neil Shoreman of Glen Iron; her half-brothers, Chuck and Jimmy Hackenberg of Millmont; and her nieces, Nichelle, Christa and Cara.
