He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron K. Aikey and Sabra A. Aikey (Catherman); his spouse Shirley M. Zimmerman; his son Ricky Aikey; and his siblings, James Aikey, Gordon Aikey, Francis Aikey, Kenneth Aikey and Bertha Napp.
He is survived by: his daughter Cindy; his son-in-law John Shipton of Watsontown; his sister Helen Sauers of Mifflinburg; and his grandchildren, Christopher (Melody Aikey), Jeremy Aikey, Amber Aikey, Renee (George Pick) and Paul (Melissa Shipton). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
