She was predeceased by: her parents, James II and Rachel Straub (Boop); her husband Stephen F. Hicks; and her brothers-in-law, Jack Huffer, Jeff Leighow and Milford Hoover.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Ruhl (Dave Bingaman) of Mifflinburg and Brandon; her daughter-in-law Samantha Ruhl of Millmont; her grandchildren, Julian, Jeremy, Alexis and Hope; her great grandchildren, Taeviah, Emmett, Juliet, John, Samuel Straub and Helen Rathfon; her sisters, Betty Huffer, Judy Leighow, Bonnie Hoover and Pauline (Rich VanKirk); her stepson-in-law John Rodkey of Mifflinburg; her stepgrandchildren, Derek, Madison and Zayne; her pet Angel Marie; and also, David Straub and Terri Comstock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
