He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonas Henry and Maud Esther Hoy (Shontz); his wife Eleanor R. Hoffman; and his brother Richard Hoy. He is survived by: his children, Eldon (Lori Hoy), Kerwin W. (Donna Hoy) and Donna L. (Hoy); and his son-in-law Bekind Guy of Garden City, SC. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Donald requested that donations be made to the Mifflinburg Boys' Basketball Club to support the team that he so loved to watch for many years.
