It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aladean Aikey of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania, born in Watsontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Larue Plotts and Ilda Plotts (Gray); her husband John C. Aikey; her daughter Cindy Lou Aikey; and her siblings, Carolyn Bowersox, Donna Wesley, A. Larue, Jr., William, Boyd and Roger Plotts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy (Harry Harris), Kathy (Paul Houdeshell), Lana Aikey and Lisa (Daniel Culp); her siblings, Frank "Mike" Plotts of Lewisburg, Richard (Mildred Plotts) and Emily Printzenhoff of Milton; and her grandchildren, Jessica Aikey of Mifflinburg, Dillon (Allison Culp) of Pittsburgh, Daniel Culp, II of Mifflinburg and Tiffany (Mark Shoemaker) of Mifflinburg. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made the donor's favorite charity.
