The memory of Robert P. Lawson of Mifflin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Brooks Lawson and Ernestine Lawson (Krick); his wife Sindra "Sis" Lawson (Hockenberry); his brothers, John B. Lawson, Earl G. "Whitey" Lawson and Ernest K. Lawson; and his great grandchild Kody.
He is survived by: his children, Larry "Wolfer" Lawson (Doris) of Pleasant Gap and Linda Lawson (Mike Rogowicz) of Mechanicsburg; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Kevin (Vanessa), Andrew, Shane (Alisha), Brian and Alicia (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Koltin (Grace), Collen, Aleah, Hunter, Logan, Makenna, Ruger, Beretta, Bailey, Addison and Gavin.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Guss Funeral Home, Inc. (20 S 3rd St, Mifflintown, PA 17059). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery (15275 PA-35, Port Royal, PA 17082).
