It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Thomas of Mifflin, Pennsylvania, born in Berwick, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Freas Thomas and Edna Knorr (Herring); and his stepparents, Robert Knorr and Betty Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Thomas (Shaffer); his daughters, Glenda Lanning and Janelle Kalbach (Edward); his grandchildren, Adam Isherwood, Alicia Isherwood, Kylee Hoze and Kassidy Kalbach; his great grandchildren, Jayda, Marcus and Axel; and his siblings, Terry Thomas (Diane) and Debbie Glass of Apollo Beach, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to his family to help defray his final expenses.
