He was predeceased by: his spouse Madline N. Bender (Fretz); his parents, Levi J. Bender and Emily R. Bender (Mengel); his sons, Kent R. Bender and Darrell G. Bender; and his brothers, Marvin and John Bender.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather A. (Bryon M. Kuhn); his daughters-in-law, Corinne L. Bender (Knabb) of Bernville and Cynthia A. Starr (Long) of Bernville; his grandsons, Ryan K. Bender, Codie D. Bender and Brenden M. Kuhn; his great grandchildren, Samantha Bender and James Bender; and his brother Arthur Bender.
