He is survived by: his wife Pamela M Samsel (Johnson); his son Robert Samsel (Briar Ridall); his grandson Blaise Harmon Samsel; his stepgranddaughter Iris Cartwright; and his siblings, Brenda R. Garrison (Hons) and Jason Samsel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
