She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond S. Bender and Mary Ella Bender (Speece); her husband Gerald D. Swartz, Sr.; and her son Douglas Eugene Swartz. She is survived by: her son Gerald D. Swartz, Jr. (Brenda) of Harrisburg; and her sisters, Annamae Haubert of Thompsontown and Maude Speece (Robert) of Thompsontown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
