With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Gilbert of Midway, Pennsylvania, born in Sturgeon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gilbert and Louise Gilbert (Nourigat); his wife Myra J. Gilbert (Schwab); his grandson Justin Halyak; and his siblings, Fred, James, Lawrence, Raymond, Donald, Joseph Gilbert, Hazel Schollaert, Floritine Suplit, Mary Hartsic and Ellen Chiff.
He is survived by: his children, Karen L. Halyak (John) of Bulger, Robert Gilbert (Kimberly) of Midway, Mark Gilbert (Brenda) of Hickory and Lori A. Schaub (Phillip) of Texas; his grandchildren, Rob Gilbert (Erin), Tiffany Mastic (Derek), Kayla Gilbert (Matt Connelly), Harley Edlund, Christian Schaub (Chyann) and Cheyanne Schaub; his great grandchildren, Dravyn Halyak, Branson Connelly, Nathan, Camden Mastic, Kyle and Linley Schaub; and his pet Gracie.
