He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Petroff and Susan D'amico (Kashi); his wife Domenica Petroff (Mamie Flara); and his siblings, Helen Petroff (Canney), Robert Petroff, Irene Lemasters (Petroff) and Nicholas Selepec.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph Petroff Jr. (Stella Pometto) and Tammy Friday (Charles); his grandchildren, Rio Stenner (Mark), Blake (Megan) and Chad Friday; and his great grandchildren, Wren, Edwin and Calla Stenner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Sherwood Oaks.
