He is survived by: his wife Opal Hopkins (Childers); his daughters, Edith Chaffee (Philip) and Lisa Gouldsbarry (Edward); his grandchildren, Naomi Shepler (Jake), Joshua Chaffee (Kelly), Abigail Peralta (David), Danelle Gouldsbarry, Jeslyn Gouldsbarry and Hudson Gouldsbarry; his great grandchildren, Levi Shepler, Luke Shepler, Judah Shepler, Olivia Chaffee, Tyler Chaffee and Josephine Peralta; his siblings, Tom Hopkins (Debbie), Denny Hopkins (Nancy), Eddie Hopkins, Cindy Rex (Ken) and Kathryn Bell; and his sister-in-law Nola Hopkins.
