Melvin of Midland, Pennsylvania, born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tippett and Lois Tippett; her husband Edward Melvin; her children, Douglas, Denise and William Melvin (Bill); her daughter-in-law Roseann; her grandchildren, John Tennerelli and Marissa Vaughn; her great grandchild Nathan Gingery Jr.; and her siblings, Janet Csonka and Ted Tippett.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Lyons (Bob) and Jeff Melvin; her grandchildren, Megan Lyons, Krystle Smith (Tyler), Ranee DiTri (Joseph), Brandon Melvin (Amber), Gina Vaughn, Ray Melvin, Rick Rappa (Brooke) and Mike Rappa (Adriana); and her sister Carol Rauch.
