He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fischer and Catherine Fischer (Gable); his wife Lenda Fischer (Long); and his brother Phillip Fischer. He is survived by: his sons, Michael J. Fischer Sr. and Patrick W. Fischer (Tammie); and his grandchildren, Ashley M. Collins (Christopher), Samantha J. Matinchek (Josh), Jilian M. Fischer, Michael J. Fischer Jr. and Emma J. Fischer. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (280 N Race St, Middletown, PA 17057). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
