She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Richardson and JoElla A. Knight (Shearer); her son Seth Jerome; and her brother Gerald Richardson Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Larry Jerome; her children, JoElla L and Darius "DJ" A. Jerome (Teresea); her daughter-in-law Andrea Jerome; her siblings, Frances A Rhodenizer, Kenneth R. Richardson (Gail) and Patricia R. Givler (Harvey); her grandchildren, Kai Jerome, Kayleigh Jerome, Kaydin Jerome, Samantha Zeiders, Katelynn Jerome, Ashley Jerome and Jenna Jerome; and her great grandchild Leah Meise.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
