He is survived by: his wife Mae Stum (Wise) of Virginia; his daughters, Brenda Stum and Anita Stum (Alison Pottage); his daughter-in-law Linda Stum; his grandchildren, Jeremy Stum (Jennifer), Amy Deffendall (Andrew), Iona Stum and Logan Stum; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Stum, Laura Stum, Olivia Deffendall and Sofia Deffendall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
