With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruth G. Nissley of Middletown, Pennsylvania, born in Smoketown, Pennsylvania, whose life came to an end on April 27, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford D. Leaman and Mary Leaman (Neff); her daughter Sylvia Ruth Nissley; and her siblings, Anna Geib, Chester Leaman, Miriam Segerstrom, Paul Leaman and Daniel Leaman.
She is survived by: her children, Dale E. Nissley (Anna Frances), J. Melvin Nissley (Marilyn), Gerald C. Nissley (Mary) and Sharon J. Kurtz (Gerald) of Charleston, SC; her siblings, Sanford Leaman (Marty) and Irene Shenk (Henry); and her siblings-in-law, Erma Leaman, Miriam Leaman and Ed Segerstrom. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren.
