He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Schauer and Rosie Houser Schauer; and his brother Robert K. Schauer. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Arnold Schauer; his sons, Russell J. Schauer, Jr. (Merriam) of Elizabethtown, Dale R. Schauer of Harrisburg, Joseph M. Schauer of Baltimore, MD and Robert K. Schauer of Middletown; his grandchildren, Russell III, Angela and Tiffany; his great grandchildren, Nick, Sophia, Mason and Emma; and his brother Ronald R. Schauer of Elizabethtown.
