He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Markey and Viola Markey (Matterness); and his daughter Cynthia K. Markey. He is survived by: his spouse Jacquelene M. Markey (Houser); his children, Robert E. Markey, Jr. (Sandra), Jeffrey B. Markey (Karen) of Middletown and Peggy A. Markey of Middletown; and his siblings, Richard Markey and Betty Asick. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
