He was predeceased by: his parent William S. Gelbaugh; his former wife Barbara Costik Gelbaugh; his daughter Shannon Barnes Turkowsky; and his sister Evelyn (Sis). He is survived by: his parent Evelyn Ruth Miller; his mother-in-law Jean; and his wife JoAnn Gelbaugh of Middletown. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Robert L. Gelbaugh, Jr. (Suki) of Lewisberry, Veronica A. Eskra (Corey) of New Cumberland, Christian E. Gelbaugh (Katie) of Dillsburg, Shelly Greenwalt of Middletown, and Shawna Messersmith of Red Lion; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
