He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Painter, and Mabel Painter, Sr.; his wife Elizabeth H. Painter; and his brother Robert Painter (Audrey). He is survived by: his son David Painter; his grandchildren, Lindsay, Adam (Deha) and Sarah Beth; his stepgrandchildren, Sarah Ozolins (Pete), Merry Penk and Carl Penk (Alanna); and his caregiver Ieshia Jordan. He is also survived by Three Great-grandchildren.
Ralph participated in the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP), reading with elementary school children in two county schools.
