He was predeceased by: his parents, John J., Sr. and Anne M. Mecca (Ciccone). He is survived by: his wife Jody L. Mecca (Miller); his sons, Joseph J. Mecca (Stacy) and Edward A. Mecca (Elizabeth); and his brother John J. Mecca, Jr. (Leslie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
