It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Miriam Rutter (Middletown, Pennsylvania), born in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 10, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Walter Daveler; her husband Earl W. Rutter, Sr.; her daughter Barbara Heisey; and her siblings, Martha Keller, Claude, Ralph and James Daveler.
She is survived by: her parent Mary Daveler (Fry); her children, Gloria Rutter of Middletown, Earl Rutter, Jr. (Janet) of Middletown, Patricia Rider (Paul) of Elizabethtown, Kathy Hipple of Middletown and Nancy Shoffner (Thomas) of Lewisberry; and her sister Evelyn Walters Balmer of Lititz. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
