He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard C. Kear and Gladys T. Kear Seitz Hartman; his son Timothy Kear; and his siblings, Thomas, Ronald Kear and Kay L. Walker Higgins (Kear).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Kear, Jr. and Christine Kear; his stepsons, Richard Rottner and Christopher Tannehill; and his former spouses, Mary Kear and Laurie Zimmerman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hershey Cemetery.
