She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick G. Schlegel; and her parents, Charles P. Dietz and Evelyn Reuss Dietz. She is survived by: her sons, Colonel Charles 'Doc Schlegel and Erich G. Schlegel (Paige); her brother Charley W. Dietz (Paddy); and her grandchildren, Jakob, Brooke, Connor, Kai and Lukas Schlegel.
