He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Burnette Sr. and Maggie Burnette (Chambers). He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Burnette; his wife Joan E. Burnette (Soulliard); and his children, Stephanie L. Kubick (David G.) of Harrisburg, Pam Burnette of Atlanta, Georgia and Leo C. Burnette, III of Douglasville, Georgia. He is also survived by six grandchildren adn one great-grandchild.
