She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Carnes and Dorothy Carnes (Lyter); her husband Joseph James Sviben; and her siblings, William Carnes, Dottie Ann Koons, Ida Carnes, Beth Ann Carnes, Ted Carnes, Russell Carnes and Dana Hinkle.
She is survived by: her daughter Heather Sviben (Dave Gornik); her grandchildren, Brandi Ward (Brandon), Amanda Turk (Frank) and Joseph Sviben; her great grandchildren, Camden Ward and Paityn Ward; her brother Milton Carnes (Tricia); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Carnes, Colleen Carnes, Nicole Cuckovic Hinkle and John Sviben. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
