He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dupes and Marion Krodel (Shaneor); his daughter Kathy Jo Krodel; and his brother Walter Krodel. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Krodel (Plott); his sons, Karl T. Krodel, Jr. (Laura) of Middletown and Kris D. Krodel (Della) of York; his sisters, Barbara J. Spease (Jay) and Roseann Washock; his grandchildren, Cara Krodel-Smotherman, Brett, Nicolas, Gavin Krodel, Brittany McCurdy, Keely Plymire and Emma Reed; and his great grandchildren, Laynie Crabill, Kiah, Wyatt McCurdy and Christopher Krodel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
